Foxa Update - September 1st 2023 Update

Hello everyone! Its your favorite fox back as per usual to give the normal bimonthly update on everything going on! Lets jump straight into the newest news on everything as we begin to get into the Autumn!


Some interesting things are afoot! Lets go ahead and discuss each topic in detail and explain what is happening with each one, shall we?
Commissions/Patreon Setup
So, for Commissions and Patreon, things have taken a bit and this has been pretty low on my priority list, but we are just about there. Sometime in the near future, I will be adding a proper Commissions Page onto my website, which will include my Commisions Sheet! My Patreon will also be available for those who wish to donate to me! This took a bit longer then expected, but soon I'll be getting this fully figured out!
The Sewers
So, you may notice that The Sewers are not on this month's planning anymore, and there's a reason for that. Basically, I am dissatisfied with the current plans for The Sewers, and am going to once again extend the development time for them, however, while this is being done I won't just leave it as is, and instead I am going to continue working on their planning and getting it all finalized while working on another level which is close to being finalized in regards to plans, that being Outpost MA-14. Speaking of which...
Outpost MA-14
Work on this map is beginning immediately after this is being posted! Quite frankly, it was a foolish decision of mine not to begin work on this before the sewers, especially considering how much farther along planning is for this level, but hey, least I can do is begin work on these now that I've recognized my mistake! This level already is mostly designed, meaning it wont require much additional planning, so in the meanwhile I will create the basic layout using the outdated tile set before beginning work on the new level models. Once the level environment is created, I will make the props, physics, lighting, ect ect. This level hopefully can be finished by the end of October, and from there, I will have the Sewers fully planned out, and maybe even continuing development. Once The Sewers is done, the trailer for the game will be created and released at some unknown point in the future.
Project Rise Previsualization Test/Storyboard
Project Rise's Previs Test is going decently well. Most of the animation is made, though a bit more needs to be done, so as a result I am going to be taking a bit more time on the animation, and in the meanwhile working on the first edit of the video. I am anticipating that the creation of the Previsualization Test will still be completed by the end of September.
Conclusion
Well, in conclusion, things have been a bit slow, but I'm continuing to work through it, and even with the adjustment required to be made, I am certain that I can get a good amount of progress going over the next while! I'm very excited for later this year and to show what we currently have, so hopefully it will all be worth the hard work and effort!
