Foxa Update - June 1st 2023 Update

There's some cool Mainland footage in here you might be interested in, so go take a looksie if your interested! Now with that out of the way, lets get to showing this month's first calendar!

First of all, you might notice some slight differences in the calendar this time around! For one, my logo was slightly adjusted and moved, some new colors have been added, some wording and tasks got slightly altered, and of course there's another Mainland teaser in the background! Pretty cool ay? "But wait, Project Rise Storyboard? That wasn't there before!" Indeed, how about we get to discussing that before we head into the calendar...

My Current Projects

As most of you guys know, currently, my only announced project is Project Dead Reeds, otherwise known as Slendytubbies III R. However, some of you may have heard of three other project names, those being Project Maternal, Project Rise, and Project White Sapphire, and I am going to confirm that yes, all of these, excluding Project Maternal, are projects that I am developing. While I can't confirm much, lets go ahead and quickly go over them briefly.

Project Maternal

Project Maternal, or as it was actually called, Maternal Instinct, is a project I will keep brief about, since it actually isn't a project in development, but was instead a scrapped concept project I had in mind for a psychological horror game. It ultimately was just a concept project that got beaten by Project White Sapphire, but I thought it was worth mentioning for those wondering what this was.

Project Rise

Project Rise is a currently Unannounced and Untitled Animation Project being developed by me and me alone. Currently, I am planning on beginning work on the storyboard for this project this month, once the Mainland is complete. Currently, there are plans to begin full production on this project sometime in Late 2024, with hopes of a proper announcement sometime around then as well. That is all I can confirm for now, but hopefully I can show you more information in the future.

Project White Sapphire

Project White Sapphire is currently an Unannounced and Untitled Story-based Racing Game that I am also working on, which is planned to have it's prototyping begin either Late 2023 or Early 2024, depending on when I am able to. I won't confirm much in regards to this project, similar to Project Rise, but I am hoping to begin full production on this game sometime Late 2024, with potentially a proper announcement in Early 2025.

I just thought I'd briefly go over those, since those have been mentioned here and there, but yes, I am working on two other projects along side Slendytubbies III R! But anyways, lets move onto what your really here for, the Calendar Update Synopsis!

Mainland Overhaul

So, big news for you Mainland lovers out there, the Mainland has successfully hit it's second phase! Right now I am getting systems implemented and decorating the rest of the Mainland, as well as doing optimization work! Pretty cool ay? I'm very excited to show you guys what's in store, and hopefully with the new video footage you guys are even more excited as well! I'm decently close to getting done, so hopefully I can finally move onto the next level, The Sewers, very soon in the near future!

Website Update v2.0

So in regards to the website, unfortunately not a whole lot has been done unfortunately, I've just been too busy with other stuff, but I am making progress and I am working on it! I am actually trying to aim to get this thing done by the end of the month, but really I am not all too sure this will be done by the end of June, we'll have to see on that, but I am trying to aim for it as a little stretch goal! I'll keep you posted on any future news! Though I will reveal that there is going to actually be ONE new page that I didn't mention previously... What will it be? You'll have to find out soon enough!

Commissions

Commissions have had a great amount of progress made towards getting fully set up! Currently I am attempting to get a proper bank account set up, as well as a proper payment method for people to be able to pay me, but as of right now, that's currently the state of affairs! I also got the prices mostly figured out, and while there definitely will be changes, I have all of the basic plans and fundamentals figured out! If your interested in having some nature environments made for ya, then definitely keep a good eye on me, cuz I'll be coming out with the ability to purchase from me in the near future!

Project Rise Storyboard?

Yeah thats right, I'm gonna begin working on the storyboard this month. I unfortunately can't say a whole lot, but I am going to be reusing a lot of old models for this as placeholders while I work on this. It's gonna be pretty interesting, but hopefully it'll be pretty fun to work on. Again, can't say too much, but hopefully this gives ya a little peek as to things to come!

School

"Okay, so art calendar, pretty cool and all, but what about that boring topic called school? How's that going?" Well it's actually going very well! I only have 5 courses left of school, and I am getting them done very quickly! Soon I will be going to summer school to finish up, and then boom! I will be done with High School and can solely focus on Game Development and 3D Artistry as a passion! I'm so so close I can just feel it! Hope you guys are ready to see me go ham on progress in the next up coming months, because I'm gonna be making major work of these last courses, and then, well, then my next art projects are gonna be my next victims!

Conclusion

Hope you guys enjoyed the surprise video this time! Quite a lot of progress has been made over the past month and I am very proud of the progress I have made towards my goals, and I cannot wait to see what June has in store! Admittedly, I am a bit nervous, with school, the Mainland, Project Rise's Storyboard, and tons of other stuff to work on, it's gonna be crazy, but I know I can make it through!
